The town is governed by a viceroy, who commands over all the adja- cent I ountry, alTifted by feven other great officers, as at Boeikdoe, who are called Vea- Kf trade. there for themfelves and attendants to lodge in, and the houfe-keepers muft maintain and fubfilt them all the time they ftay there ; and if any Oiould repine at it, they will certainly be puniflied for it, and the yeadors may turn them out of their own houfes.
