The mere feature of fully developed wings or abbreviate wings is such an evident condition of dimorphism in many genera of Dermaptera, as also in many members of the orthopterous family Gryllidse, and to a lesser extent in the Blattidae, that it seems to us to be crowding the literature to provide them with names.
