After the exercise, Edwards and his squad helped establish the relationship with local Iraqi families by making a stop in a nearby neighborhood to hand out treats and personal hygiene items. Personnel attached to the 2nd/198th Armor are part of the 155th Brigade Combat Team, forward deployed to central Iraq in support of Operation Iraq Freedom (OIF).
