For practical conditions the solid non-bearing partition meets all requirements ofsoundproofness. as sound is usually carried between rooms, through doorways or crevices orby the floor. The solid monolithic metal lath partitions are more effective than many hollow-block partitions which contain unfilled crevices through which the sound penetrates. For the non-bearing hollow partition we furnish Truscon Hollow Studs (see Page 6),consisting of two % channels separated by spacing bars, furnished in sizes
