Moonset Navesink Twin Lights - Twilight view to the illuminated Lighthouses with the setting moon in between the towers. The current lighthouses were constructed in 1862. The non-identical towers are 246 feet above sea level. This was the first American lighthouse to try the Fresnel Lens. Twin Lights is listed on the State National Register of Historic Places. The lighthouses are located in Highlands, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, overlooking Sandy Hook Bay, the entrance to the New York Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean.
