5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Dec. 26, 2012) Electronics Technician Seaman Levi Holmes fires a dual barrel .50-caliber machine gun during a live-fire exercise aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Green Bay is part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU) is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
