Hospital Corpsman HN Clay provides medical care to a small Vietnamese boy with a hurt knee. Clay, a member of "g" Co., 2/3, is seen bandaging the knee while the boy's friends look on. This took place on May 25, 1965, during a MEDCAP operation in the village of Pho Nan Thuong Ho, conducted by the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam. All villagers were temporarily relocated for questioning by Vietnamese Civil Affairs soldiers. This photograph was taken by GySgt. Ayers and is part of the Defense Department's collection (Marine Corps) labeled A184,355 gs 127 GVB-244.
