Her favorite subject was Free Willas opposed to Predestination, and in debate the Scriptures werefreely quoted in defense of her belief. On Sunday at noon herhome was the meeting place of many members of the church, whocame from a distance and remained for the afternoon review of the morning sermon and a survey of the religiousconditions at home and abroad were mingled with the social tea,cake and doughnuts of the noon lunch.
