Inside the church of St Michel with a bas-relief of St Josemaria Escriva between stained-glass windows with images of other saints, Chamonix, France


The parish church of Saint-Michel de Chamonix contains a bas-relief dedicated to Saint Josemaría Escriva (1902-1975). It consists of a central panel surrounded by eight scissor scenes by Chris Piasecki, retracing various episodes in the life of Saint Josemaría and the spirit of the Opus Dei founded by him in 1928.
