DANIEL SULLIVAN D.^NIEL SULLIVAN LENGTH OF SERVICE, 51 YEARS 10 MONTHS Daniel Sullivan was Crossing Watchman atTitusville, Pa., for nearly 40 years. During thatlong period he was able, by his vigilance and care,to prevent the occurrence of even a single acci-dent at the crossing forwhich he was responsible. Mr. Sullivan was bom in County Kerry, Ire-land, on March 17, 1846, and came to Americawith his parents. In May, 1864, at the age of18 years, he entered the service of the WesternNew York and Pennsylvania Railroad as Brake-man, engaged in both the freight and passengerservices. He was assigned to duty as Crossing Watch-man at Titusville in November, 1877, and re-mained in that position until he was placed uponthe Roll of Honor, April 1, 1
