Native Mayo woman makes tortillas by hand in small village of Capomos outside El Fuerte in Sinaloa state of Mexico. She grinds corn into flour mixes it with water pats it into a flat pancake shape and fries it in a wok shaped pan greased with bone. The tortillas are cooked over a fire made with scrap wood. These are not Maya Indians but rather take their name from the nearby Mayo River
