Sections of the rear walls, near the top, have fallendown. On account of being left exposed, six interior columns in the basement failed from the fire and wrecked alarge portion of the interior of the building. The small sum of $ devoted to the suitable protection of these columnswould no doubt have saved $30, in the cost of the repairs to this building. 108
