Ring billed gull (Larus delawarensis, left) and a black-headed gull (Larus ridibundus, right) in flight. The ring billed gull can grow up to 49 centimetres in length and have a wingspan up to 124 centimetres. The black-headed gull is 38-44 centimetres long with a wingspan up to 105 centimetres. It has a brown head in the summer and a white head in the winter. Both gulls are migratory and omnivorous birds. Photographed in December, in Kent, UK.
