Northern Gannet Morus Bassanus courtship . At RSPB Troup Head, Aberdeenshire. Scotland

Troup Head in Aberdeenshire, Scotland is home to a colony of Gannets. Being Scotlands only mainland colony it gives a unique chance to get a close view of these endearing though smelly seabirds. Living up to 17 years they mate pretty much for life. Parting once the young have left, and rebonding next season.
