The Star Sydney ambassador Jennifer Hawkins wore a bespoke $3million white diamond headpiece to The Star Doncaster Mile Luncheon at BLACK Bar & Grill. Designed specifically for the luncheon by celebrated jeweller Nic Cerrone, the annual event celebrates The Star’s partnership with The Australian Turf Club along with its continued commitment to celebrate the best of Sydney’s sporting culture. The Star Doncaster Mile at Royal Randwick on Saturday, 7 April is the world’s richest 1600m handicap race with $3million in prizemoney and the highlight of the autumn Sydney Carnival. Hosted by The Star ambassador Emma Freedman, the exclusive luncheon was attended by VIP and celebrity guests plus leading racing identities including James Cummings, trainer of Doncaster favourite Kementari. The event showcased the best of hospitality and entertainment unique to The Star Sydney. Taking place at BLACK Bar & Grill, guests enjoyed a specially curated menu by Executive Chef, Dany Karam.
