Smaller thau the preceding, which it much resembles in generalappearance ; it may be easily known by the longer labrum, thesmaller head, the much narrower space between the moreprominent eyes, and the longer and distinctly narrower pronotum,which is rather longer than broad ; the white markings on theelytra are different, the lunule at the shoulder being larger, andthe hinder markings more or less confluent; of these there arefive or six in all on each, besides the humeral patch; the apicalpatch is crescent-shaped and dilated at its upper extremity; thetrochanters are red; the underside is thickly pubescent at thesides, as in the preceding species, the genae being comparativelyscantily but distinctly pubescent.
