The Israeli gate of the Erez crossing in the northern Gaza Strip. The Israeli coordinator announced that Israel will close the Erez terminal closure because of the acts of violence that took place along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel during the past few days. The crossing was closed to the entry of Palestinian workers and travellers via the King Hussein Bridge into Jordan from the Gaza Strip, on September 18, 2023. Today the Israeli coordinator announced that Israel will extend the closing of Erez terminal for two more days.
