Meningioma brain cancer. Coloured axial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans through the brain of an 87-year-old woman with a meningioma (round mass, orange) in the right frontal lobe. A meningioma is a cancer of the meninges, the brain membranes. This one has caused Alzheimer disease-like symptoms, including gait disturbance, falls and co-ordination problems.
