(Sept. 21, 2018) Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Adrianne Billups, assigned to Naval Station Everett (NSE), recounts the history of the POW/MIA flag and observance of National POW/MIA Recognition Day during a National POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony at NSE. National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed on the third Friday in September and honors those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action.
