NELSON I,T-OYD DEMING, , Physi-cian, was born in Danbury, Connecticut,November 21, 1868, son of Charles Julius and AnnieMaria (White) Deming. The Demings are ofEnglish origin, the founder of the family in Americahaving settled in Windsor, Connecticut, at an eady. N. L. date in the Colonial period. Dr. Demings great-grandparents were Julius Deming of Eitchfield andDorothy (Champion) Deming of Westchester, and hisgrandparents were William of Litchfield and Char-lotte (Bull) Deming, of Hartford, Connecticut.
