Nick Wood, Chief Executive Officer of Wireless bioDevices Ltd. in the bioServices research laboratory at Glasgow University. Wireless bioDevices produce the SensaPill, a small electronic device that is used to detect internal bleeding. The device has an inbuilt biosensor and wireless transmitter, which he is holding in either hand. Once swallowed, the device detects conditions in the gastrointestinal tract. It can be used to diagnose a range of diseases associated with the bowel.
