Judgment of Solomon, Cesare Ferreri, After the Notary, 1812 - 1859 print King Solomon sits on his throne and velt a judgment about a dispute between two prostitutes who both had a child. The child who dies lies on the ground for Solomon, the child who is still alive and claimed by both mothers, is held by a man with a sword. This man is instructed by Solomon to share the child in two, but this goes the real mother too far, she begs him to let her child live.
