The father was born inMiami county April 4, 1823, and was ason of Abraham and Hannah (Harlass)Cromer, both natives of Virginia. Theycame to Ohio about 1814. Mr. and were married ]\Iarch 5, Estey was the daughter of Jamesand Abigail (Knoop) Estey, and was bornin New Brunswick, March 27, 1826. Herparents were also natives of New Bruns-wick.
