Foot-bridge to Dětský Island (Dětský ostrov) in the Vltava River in Smíchov district in Prague, Czech Republic. The bridge designed by Czech modernist architect Vlastislav Hofman and Russian bridge engineer Mikhail Kovalevsky (Michail Kovalevskij) was built from 1933 to 1941. Dětský Island (Children's Island) was previously known as Židovský Island (Jewish Island). The National Theater (Národní divadlo) is seen in the background.
