One of the best white varieties we have, strong habit and very free blooming. {See cut.) Mme. Diaz Albertini. The new pink carnation and deemed one of the best yet introduced. Emily Pierson. Deep red, fine large flowers of great substance. A very good variety. Daybreak. So called because of its rare and beautiful color, com- pared to the first faint tinge of rosy light seen in the eastern sky. Grace Wilder. The pink carnation par excellence. American Flag. Best striped carnation yet introduced. Sweet Briar. A new variety having exquisite rosy pink flowers, large, full and delightfully fragrant. Helen Keller. Long, stout stems; a strong, vigorous and healthy grower. Color clear white, delicately and very evenly marked with bright scarlet—giving it a very pleasing and effective appearance. Thomas Cartledge. A pure shade of carmine pink, .slightly deeper than Tidal Wave,and in every way more desirable than that variety. Wm. Scott.
