Saint Amans was the evangelist of Lodève and Rodez. The chapel is a rural construction located on a high plateau 4 km from Valquières, on the old path leading from Bédarieux to Lodève across the Escandorgue. From there, on a clear day, the hiker can discover an exceptional panorama: the Lodévois basin.
