If usedwith care, they will probably last as long as the metal tubings, but there is a slightly greater firehazard from their use if they are subjected to heat. Nos. 4, n, and 14 are dangerous types oftubings constructed of paper, covered with various composition mixtures, on a wire spiral, thewhole covered with a cotton braiding, giving it a good outside appearance.
