Nazi era statue of Uebermensch, Vogelsang Castle, Germany


Vogelsang located in the Eifel hills of northwestern Germany near the border with Belgium was built in the 1930s to train a new Nazi party elite. It was used as a military base by the Belgian army and handed byck to the Germany government in 2006. It is now being turned into a museum. The Torch Bearer is five metres high and embodies the Nazi ideal of a Germanic master race.
