Peter-son was married to Miss Sadie Whit-sel in November. 1903. He is a mem-ber of the Methodist church, alsoone of the Sons of Veterans of MountUnion. His fathers name was Ja-cob K. Peterson, who was a memberof Co. T, 99th Regiment, Penna. Vol-unteers. At the Ipreseint time ! has not taken up any occu-pation, but , it is altogether likely. W. W. Peterson that in the near future he wili enterinto business either in Mount Unionor elsewhere. While in our commun-ity he has won the esteem of manyfriends, and up to Nov. 25, 1909 con-trolled a large patronage. C. H. HAINES C. H. Haines, one of Mount Unions^luichers, located in the Peers Hotelhlock, was born in Fort Fairfield,Maine, Aug. 17, 1879. Mr. Haines isof Scotch-Irish extraction. He residedin the Pine Tree State, assisting;his father, who was a farmer, until1899, when he hailed for Middletown, being eisgaged in that city asan attendant in a hospital. In 1901, 411
