On May 31, 1877, Mr. Brown married the daughter of his formerbusiness associate, Miss Minnie Doan. They have one daughter, EdithM. Brown. Walter Dickson Corrigan has been engaged in the practice oflaw since 1897. Be is of Irishand Scotch-English descent. He was reared to manhood on a PortageCounty farm, by his grandfather, Walter Dickson, who had asa pioneer to Wisconsin in 1844, and his early education was securedin the district schools of that vicinity.
