The Retail Florists' Association held its monthly meeting, April 19, in Wash- ington hotel. President Charles Young was in the chair. Secretary Weber re- ported a good attendance. The Easter business and the credit system were fully discussed. Three new members were elected, Joseph Medic, J. J. Windier and John Bohrm. Treasurer Geranios tendered his resignation, which was accepted. The next meet- ing will take place May 17. After this the association will not meet again until fall unless a special occasion arises. Charles Young, manager of the retail store of C. Young & Sons Co., say^ mail orders for plants and seeds are coming in heavily, while local trade is ahead of any previous year.
