The first May Day was exceeding captivating, and revealed a greatamount of talent among the feminine students. The festivities wereheld in the afternoon and they consisted of exercises, drills and march-es given in Greek Costume. The crowning of the May Queen con-cluded the program. In 1914, May Day. Circus, and MechanicsBurning were combined in one huge performance which was given atnight in the form of a pageant
