Zenvo Automotive is a Danish sports car manufacturer located in Præstø on the Danish island of Zealand. It was founded by Troels Vollertsen, and the name 'Zenvo' is derived from a combination of the last 3 and first 2 letters in his last name. Danish hypercar manufacturer unveils latest commission of 1177bhp twin-supercharged TSR-S model • First example to feature latest carbon fibre innovations from Zenvo including full fragmented carbon fibre wheels and bespoke weave design to exposed carbon fibre body sections • Constant development within Zenvo has also seen the creation of a hybrid gearbox, increasing drivetrain capabilities for future models • Latest TSR-S was due to be unveiled at Geneva International Motor Show, but Zenvo will now be hosting a private media event at its Denmark HQ Zenvo builds five cars per year by hand from its factory in Præstø, Denmark, with every car built to exacting customer specifications Zenvo Automotive was founded in 2004. The first prototype of what became the Zenvo ST1 was completed in December 2008 and production began in 2009. Only 15 Zenvo ST1 cars were built and sold. In April 2018, Bil Magasinet reported that despite Zenvo's feelings that their cars were too expensive for the home market, for the first time a Zenvo was sold to a Danish customer. It was a red Zenvo TSR-S, sold for DKK million (US$ million). The Zenvo TSR-S is a road-legal version of the track-focused Zenvo TSR. Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the TSR-S features numerous upgrades and design changes compared to the previous TS1 models and sits in-between the road-going, grand touring TS1 GT and the race-focused, track only TSR.[8] On the exterior of the car, the TSR-S has been redesigned with a larger front grille and large integrated splitter and diffuser. The carbon-fiber wing on the rear of the car is able to rotate with two degrees of freedom, allowing for air braking and corner stabilization.
