Grey sky view boat below footbridges between glass concrete Paul Lobe Haus and Marie Elisabeth Luders Haus, River Spree, Berlin

The Paul Lobe Haus (left side view/ west side of the Spree )is a German Parliament Building connected to the New German Chancellery. It houses 900 offices for parliamentary deputies. It is 200 m long, 100 m wide and 22 m high. It has a large glass-roofed hall, glass-enclosed lifts and transparent staircases. It is linked by two footbridges with the Marie Elisabeth Luders Haus (right side of the view/east side of the Spree), which is a Parliamentary Library and Archives Building. The two footbridges, seen here with a sightseeing barge passing underneath, symbolically unite East and West Berlin.
