The system of which he is nowin charge includes railway, power andlight properties serving a communityof more than 40,000 persons. Mr. McCauleys management of theCalgary Municipal Railway was at-tended by marked success both from anoperating and an engineering stand-point. This is indicated by the factthat, when the city contained between65,000 and 70,000 persons, the railwaycarried in the neighborhood of 45,000riders daily. These results were ac-. A. L.
