Dwarf and cespitose, the scape a few inches high and nearly leafless but leafy at the base: Ivs. linear to linear-lanceolate, mucronulate at the apex, ciliate or spinulose on the margin, stifflsh: fls. solitary or corymbose, on long and weak peduncles, yellowish white with orange-red dots, the petals obovate-oblong.
