The restaurant and gift shop close to the Chateau Yaldara on the McGulgan winery estate in the Barossa Valley wine region. Barossa Valley is one of Australia's oldest and the country's largest wine producing state in South Australia. The region has around 150 wineries and its location is approximately 56 km (35 miles) northeast of the city of Adelaide. In 1842 the Barossa Valley was first settled by the first German Lutheran settlers which still retains its influence.
