Bensley, Bolt Court, for J .T. Smith, 31, Castle Street East, Oxford Street, and sold by R. Ryan, 353, Oxford Street, near the Pantheon; and J. Manson, 10, Gerrard Street, Soho. June 9, 1807. Type: Antique hand coloured historical city map plan. The plan shows the area around Covent Garden Piazza and down to the Strand in about 1690, including St. Paul's Church and the site of today's Royal Opera House. The map is orientated towards the north west. It is bounded on the left (south west) side by Bedford Street and on the right (north east) by Charles Street (now Bow Street). It includes copious notes on properties, monuments, past residents and general history
