On Friday October 28 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit FIVE (EODMU5) held their change of command ceremony with Cmdr. Jason Shell relieving Cmdr. John Keefe. Under Cmdr. Keefe EODMU5 conducted 8 operations, 41 theater security cooperation engagements, 7 joint and combined exercises, 3 Defense Prisoner of War Missing in Action Accountability Agency missions, and 3 humanitarian mine action missions across 24 Pacific nations. Keynote speaker for the ceremony was Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75 Commodore, Capt. Shaun Lieb.
