Bigeye snapper shoal. Single yellowfin goatfish (Mulloidichthys vanicolensis, upper centre) in a shoal of bigeye snapper (Lutjanus lutjanus). Bigeye snapper form large shoals in coral reef habitats. Yellowfin goatfish form shoals less frequently, and hunts alone at night. Both species grow to around 35 centimetres in length. Photographed in the Cape Verde islands, Atlantic Ocean.
