Enlisted men of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Replacement Regiment of Engineers being taught the elements of electricity and practical handling of electrical machinery at the Engineers' School of Electricity in Washington Barracks, The school is under the command of Col. Jos. H. Farle, C. E and the 2nd Battalion under the command of Major John F. Conklin, C. E. Over 700 engineer enlisted men are currently attending the Engineer Trade School at Washington Barracks.
