Tram 178: “The Brill” Another Boon tram, built in 1921 for two-person operation and converted in the 1930s so that the driver could run the tram without a conductor. This tram runs in only one direction, and requires a special turning area or wye at the end of the route. Number 178 can hold 54 people.
