The blue "Bling Jewels' Illuminations, sponsored by Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, were located on this section of Blackpool's promenade in 2013 and 2014. The Coral island, owned by the Noble Organisation, is one of the biggest amusement arcades in the UK. Shops selling fast-food, rock, novelties, souvenirs, fudge are seen in the side wall of the arcade along the Central Promenade. The speed limit on this section of promenade is 20 mph.
