Staff Sgt. Samuel D. Balle earned the title of Top Recruiter of the District for 8th Marine Corps Recruiting Command for the month of October 2017 and was meritoriously promoted to the rank of staff sergeant Jan. 2, 2018. Balle has been a recruiter at Recruiting Sub-Station Sandy in Utah since October of 2016. He attributes his success to his primary MOS as an 0311 Infantry Marine, and genuine concern for the young citizens of this community and their futures. (
