Air Force Lt. Col. Samuel Logan, 312th Training Squadron commander, places a suicide awareness patch on the uniform of Staff Sgt. Robert Kirkpatrick, 312th TRS instructor at the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, Sept. 8, 2022. Members of the 312th TRS designed the patch, which was lauded for its design and message from several Air and Space Force leaders, who also approved its wear on occupational camouflage uniforms.
