POSTERITY OF THOMAS KICHARDSON. 633 of North Yarmouth, a native of Enghiiid, who came to this coun-try at an early age. Her mother, Susan Davis, was born in Glou-cester, Massachusetts. In early life, he worked at the bakers trade in Charlestown. Inan account written by himself, he says, he went, ISTov. 19, 1798,to live with Lane & Cutter,* to receive from them clothes, board,and a dollar a week for spending money. He was orderly ser-geant of a military company in Boston, in September, 1801. InJune, 1802, he went to North Yarmouth, Me. (now Yarmouth),and engaged as a clerk in a grocery store; perhaps in consequenceof his connection with Ammi Cutter, of Boston. Not long after,he entered into partnership with a Capt. Bennett in that business;this connection was dissolved July 15, 1805. He w\as married,as above, Jan. 8, 1806, and went to house-keeping. April 21,1806. Moved into Capt.
