These same children are shown in the Child-Labor Table, and are designated by an asterisk (*). The total number employed between the ages of 12and 14 years is 366, of whom 86 are males and 280 fe-males, while the total number employed between the agesof 14 and 16 years is 1,304, of whom 312 are males and992 are females.
