The feathers onthe crown of the head are black, edged with rust colour :it is marked, like most of the genus, by a light streakover each eye, and a darkish spot below and before them :the throat, fore part of the neck, and belly are white ;and the breast is tinged with pale reddish yellow: theshoulders and scapulars are black, edged with white onthe exterior vi^ebs of each feather, and on the interiorwith rust colour : back and tail dusky : legs slender, andnearly black.
