EVERETT, Wash. (March 24, 2011) The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) arrives at its homeport of Everett, Wash. after a six-month deployment to the western Pacific and the Central Command area of responsibility. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2 flew more than 8,300 sorties and completed more than 23,500 flying hours, of which more than 3,600 sorties and nearly 11,000 hours were flown in support of and coalition ground forces supporting Operation Enduring Freedom
