The lions don't eat the skin of the buffalo. The young lion here is pulling the skin away with his teeth so that he can access the meat inside. The buffalo was killed by him and four other lions in his pride the previous night at the Shindzela Tented Safari camp in Timbavati Reserve of the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa.
